I. System Unlock

Reach Level 9 and complete the main quest [First Pet] to unlock the Pet System.
After completing the quest, you will receive 1 Pet Egg. Use it to obtain a random pet.

II. Pet Functions

Pets provide various attribute bonuses, including:

Attack Increase
Defense Increase
Survivability Boost

They are an essential part of character progression.

III. Pet Acquisition & Quality

-Acquisition

Pets can be obtained through:

  • Using Pet Eggs or Advanced Pet Eggs
  • Participating in activities such as Treasure Hunt, Boss Dungeon, Lv.89 Dungeon, World Boss, etc.

Advanced Pet Eggs can also be crafted by collecting fragments.

Fragments can be obtained from dungeons, events, and other gameplay.
Once enough are collected, they can be synthesized in the Life System.

Pet quality ranges from: D ～ S

※ Quality is fixed upon obtaining and cannot be changed

IV. Pet Selection Tips

Focus on the following aspects:

• Base Attributes

Each pet has a dominant attribute (STR / VIT / INT / AGI).

📌 A pet’s attack type (Physical / Magic) is fixed upon acquisition. Choose accordingly based on your class.

• Growth Rate

Range: 0.00 ~ 1.20
Higher growth = more stats gained per level = better long-term potential

※ Growth Rate cannot be changed

• Talent Skills

Each pet has 1–3 random talents.
※ Talents are fixed and cannot be changed

📌 Training Tips

  • Prioritize pets with high growth rate + suitable talents before investing resources.
  • Choose pets that match your class and playstyle.
  • Focus on pets with strong primary attributes.
  • Use any pets early on, and replace them later with high-quality ones.
  • Avoid investing heavily in low-growth pets.

• Attribute Evaluation

Pet stats consist of Base Stats + Skill Bonuses.

Displayed stats may include bonuses from skills.

Example:

STR 15 / AGI 15 / VIT 15 / INT 29

If the pet has a skill like [Mystic Insight], INT may include bonus stats.

👉 Therefore, the true growth stat may not be INT.

Always evaluate pets based on growth rate + overall stat distribution, not just displayed values.

V. Pet Development


1) Level Up

Level up pets via Cultivation

Pets can only exceed character level by up to +5 levels.


2) Breakthrough (Star Upgrade)

📌Unlock: Level 22 + quest [Kill the Lifeleech]

Stages:
0★ → 3★ → 5★

Some pets change appearance after upgrading.

Materials: Pet Evolution - L / M


3) Refinement

📌Unlock: Level 31 + quest [Set off for Chang An]

Consume: Imperial Flowing Paddle

Used to enhance pet stats.

📌Notes:

  • Stats are randomly generated within a range
  • Displayed values show the upper limit
  • Growth Rate cannot be refined


4) Skill System

Pets can have up to 8 skills.
Start with 1–3 skills.
Skill Books can unlock additional slots.
Releasing pets may return skills (including high grade ones).
Learning new skills may overwrite existing ones.

⚠ Warning:

  • Skills may be replaced randomly
  • Unlock skill slots before learning key skills

VI. Skill Books

-Basic Pet Skill Books

-Advanced Pet Skill Books

✔ Normal & High grade Skills can stack:

Critical Damage +10%
Critical Damage (L) +25%

Both effects apply simultaneously.

VII. Pet Talents

Each pet has 1–3 random talents.
※ Talents are fixed upon acquisition

VIII. Important Notes

Pet Attr. & Qualification are not directly shown in the character info.

  • Stats are fully applied; only the display method differs.

All pet attributes are converted into actual combat stats.
Check the Pet Details [Adv. Info] for final values.

IX. FAQ

Q1: Do I need to manually allocate stats for my pet?
No. Stats are automatically assigned by the system.

Q2: Why doesn’t my pet seem to increase my stats?
Pet attributes are converted and applied directly to your character’s info page.

Q3: Can Growth Rate be changed or rerolled?
No. Growth Rate is fixed upon acquisition.

Q4: Can Talent Skills be changed?
No. Talent Skills are fixed when the pet is obtained.

Q5: Why were my pet’s skills replaced?
When learning a new skill, there is a chance that an existing skill will be randomly replaced.

Q6: Why did my pet’s stats change (e.g., VIT was higher before, but now STR is higher)?
Pet stats include both base attributes and skill bonuses.
Some stats may appear higher due to skill effects, and may not reflect the true growth direction.

It is recommended to evaluate pets based on Growth Rate and overall stat distribution, rather than displayed values alone.

Q7: Can pets be traded?
Pet Eggs can be traded if they are not bound.
Once used, the pet becomes non-tradable.

Q8: What can I do with duplicate or low-quality pets?
You can release pets to obtain Skill Books.
